Cross-Bracing

by Ben N on August 27, 2013

Once I had the solar panel mounted to the kids playlet, I noticed how well it was bolted down, but how shaky the playset was in one direction.

It had cross-bracing in one dimension, but completely LACKED it in the other. The existing cross-bracing looked pretty simple – just some tube that was flat on the ends with a bolt through it. How hard could that be to make?

So, I busted out some 3/4″ metal conduit, my smashing hammer, and a can of green paint to see what I could come up with myself.

Peep the video for the whole story.
